September TBR: What I Hope to Read This Month

Hello All!

As it is nearly a new month, it is time to share with you all my September TBR

I have a bit of an adventurous list this month and chances are I won’t get everything read but I’m certainly going to try!

*Please Note: All of the links to the books on Waterstones are affiliate links*

Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo
Having now read the first two books in this series, I am looking forward to finishing the trilogy in September.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Once I’ve finished the Grisha trilogy, I have decided that I will continue to stay in the Grishaverse and read the next series. I am buddy reading this with Alex from Alex’s Books and I am very much looking forward to it.

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
As above, I am just planning to continue the series and hope to get this book read in September as well.

Vicious by V. E. Schwab
As with last month, I am taking part in the SchwabReadaLong being hosted by Reading Through Infinity and Antari Reads. This month we are reading Vicious and I am looking forward to it. Alex will also be buddy reading this one with me too.

Vengeful by V. E. Schwab
As with the Leigh Bardugo books, I also want to try and finish this duology in the month as well. I’ve not yet read Vengeful and I am looking forward to getting to it this month. Also with Alex!

A Gathering of Shadows by V. E. Schwab
Having re-read A Darker Shade of Magic in August, I have decided that I am finally going to finish this trilogy. I want to read A Gathering of Shadows in September and then A Conjuring of Light in October!

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab
This book is one of my most highly anticipated reads of the entire year and so I am absolutely going to be reading it before it’s release in October as I was lucky enough to receive an advanced review copy. I’ve already started it and it is fantastic so far.

The Places I’ve Cried in Public by Holly Bourne
As I have a very fantasy heavy TBR, the next three books are all non-fantasy just in case I need something for a different mood. I have started this book but only got a few chapters in. So I definitely want to finish this one soon.

Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli
This is a book that I have been meaning to read since it came out and so this is just another contemporary on my list this month should I suddenly be in the mood for one instead of a fantasy read!

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson
Last, but certainly not least, I am also including a thriller book just in case, again, I am in the mood for something that isn’t fantasy or contemporary. This is one that I know is loved by a lot of people and it’s time to see if I am one of them.

Here’s hoping that I manage to read all ten of these books…

What are you planning to read this month?

Blue x
