August TBR: What I Hope to Read This Month
Hello All!
It’s a little late in the month but I thought it was a good way to start a new blog, so today I am sharing with you all my August TBR.
This month I am participating in a few readathons and readalongs and these are all going to be mentioned below and linked to the announcement posts. Then, hopefully, at the end of the month, I will let you all know if I managed to read all of the books I planned to!
The Archived by Victoria Schwab – I am planning to read this as part of the UKYA Readathon and also the Schwabathon. I was supposed to finish it in July but I failed so I am hoping that I will do better this month!
A Darker Shade of Magic by Victoria Schwab – Again, this is being read for the UKYA Readathon and the Schwabathon! This is a re-read for me and I am so excited.
Boy Queen by George Lester – I am planning to read this one for the UKYA Readathon but also because I absolutely adore George Lester and cannot wait to get stuck into his debut book!
Afterlove by Tanya Byrne – I am also reading this for the UKYA Readathon! I am also incredibly excited about this book. I love Tanya’s previous books so I cannot wait to fall in love with this book too.
Viper by Bex Hogan – It’s another UKYA Readathon book! This is a book that I have had on my TBR for months, so this month I am doing my absolute most to try and get it read because I am positive I am going to love it.
Loveless by Alice Oseman – I am reading this for the UKYA Readathon and also Aspec August! I’m buddy reading this with my friends Beth and Alex and I am so very excited!
Let’s Talk About Love by Claire Kann – This one is also for Aspec August. It is also another book that I have been trying to read for months so hopefully this will be the month that I manage it!
Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir – I am planning to read this one for the Lockedtombathon! I’ve heard only good things about this book and thus I cannot wait to dive in and see what it is all about.
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab – I was incredibly lucky to be approved to read an early e-book of this book and thus I am planning to get around to it this month because I cannot explain how very excited I am for this book!
Here’s hoping that I manage to read all nine of these books…
What are you planning to read this month?
Blue x

Viper! Gideon! What a great TBR! I’ve made myself a TBR but I’m hopeless at sticking to them

I mean, I am too! But I always try and make a TBR so I at least have an idea…

I’m so happy that you’re joining in with Schwab Readalong! I really loved the Archived so I hope you do too and I’m super excited to pick up ADSOM again 😀 I read Let’s Talk About Love a few years back and enjoyed it so I’d be curious to hear your thoughts. Also YESSS ADDIE. So happy that we got accepted on Netgalley <3

I’m sorry I’ve been a bad participant so far! But I am absolutely loving The Archived. I’m about 50% through so far and I am very intrigued! And then I will be starting ADSOM. Yaay! 😀

Aww, there’s no need to apologise! Read it whatever speed suits you! I’m so glad you’re enjoying it 😀 And between you and I, I haven’t started ADSOM either 😉
